Description:
Planet Debate Gold Subscribers are entitled to two passwords that will enable them and their students to access Planet Debate's evidence database, its research directories, the contents of Stefan's Topic Guide, instructional resources for teachers, and a number of audio lectures. One password is for students for general access and the other is for teachers to use that will enable them to post tournament invitations, tournament results, access teacher-only resources, and set access permissions for multiple users from their school. Gold subscriptions are active from the time of purchase until June of 2009. |

Three years ago, the NFL introduced a new debate format -- Ted Turner/Public Forum. This format emphasizes a less technical, audience-centered approach to debating. Each month, a new topic is released that is then debated in the following month. These topics relate to contemporary public policy controversies. Within seven days of the release of the topic, Planet Debate makes available a 5-10 page overview of the topic and key arguments on each side. An additional 15-50 pages of evidence is also available. Individual releases can be purchased for $10-$20 or a subscription can be purchased for $119. Twelve releases are included in the subscription. Subscriptions last from the date they are purchased until June of 2009. |
